America is currently suffering through a horrific heroin crisis. From small rural towns, to large urban centers, dramatic increases in heroin overdoses are being reported. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, heroin use has nearly doubled since 2007, with an estimated 669,000 people reported to now be using this powerfully destructive drug. Jay – The Ritual of Heroin Addiction

Jay is a 30 year old heroin addict who has been injecting for over 17 years. He first started using heroin back in the 8th grade, where he would sneak off into the bathroom while at school to first snort, and then later inject, heroin.
